| Kod: | | THQ takes players back to the land of the EVIL DEAD with EVIL DEAD: REGENERATION. Instead of being based on one of the Evil Dead movies, REGENERATION is a new storyline featuring the chainsaw-wielding hero, Ash. Ash starts the game in a bad situation. While relaxing at his cabin, a mob of zombies attacked and he was forced to take them out. However, he was then convicted of murder. When he tried to explain that the corpses were really undead zombies, he was sent to the Sunny Meadows asylum for the criminally insane. It isn’t long before Ash realizes that one of the asylum’s staff, Dr. Vingo, is busy creating undead creatures in the basement, and Ash once again finds himself battling evil. As Ash, players have a good-sized arsenal to use against the undead. Ash can attach a variety of items to the stump where his right hand used to be, allowing him to dual wield weapons. His equipment consists of a shotgun, harpoon, handgun, and, of course, Ash’s trademark chainsaw. Once Ash has damaged an enemy, he can pull off a powerful, visually-impressive finishing move like launching an enemy into the air and shooting it with a behind-the-back blast. Another weapon against enemies is Ash’s new friend, Sam, an escapee from Dr. Vingo’s lab. Ash can throw Sam at enemies or kick him to ledges Ash can’t reach. Mature gamers who love the EVIL DEAD movies will find EVIL DEAD: REGENERATION a great continuation of the storyline. |
